Welcome to my shrine for Animal Crossing! I grew up playing these games so they hold a very special place in my heart, I have many childhood memories where Animal Crossing is noticably playing in the background. I've played most of the main games - Wild World, City Folk, New Leaf, Happy Home Designer, New Horizons, and the Happy Home Paradise DLC. Although this page will probably be mostly about New Horizons since I no longer have the saves or devices for previous games (although I want to return to the DS at some point so who knows...)
New Horizons
I started playing New Horizons as soon as it was released and, like everyone else, was pretty much attached to it throughout the covid lockdowns. Unfortunately my Switch threw a tantrum one day and I lost all of my screenshots (and I had a lot of them), so I can't show much of my previous saves, but I have had quite a few different islands (I entered the constant resetting phase for a while there).
My original island was a lot of fun and I got quite far with it (my art gallery was pretty full I was so proud), after a while I started giving it an 'around the world' theme and made such a mess terraforming that I completely burned myself out (turns out that terraforming is my nemesis). I messed around on another island or two after that before picking up the terraforming shovel again and making a Christmas island! I was so proud of this one - every villager home was decorated all cozy and festive, with tons of lights and gyroids, a christmas market, and an ice rink! After that I fell in love with the cottagecore vibe and started several islands in this style - you can see a bit of the last one in the gallery, but I didn't get very far with it before finally deciding to restart one last time for my forever island!
I started this new save, Blossom, in February 2025 after taking a bit of a break from the game - I actually started making permanent saves for all of my video games at this point! I am still in the relatively early stages of this island, but I'm having fun just chilling with my villagers and playing at my own pace!

My dream villagers!
These are my special little guys. I've had each of them on previous islands at some point (Tybalt was actually one of my original starter villagers, and has been a few times since then!) and hope to eventually collect them all together on Blossom! I'm doing it slowly and enjoying other villagers in the meantime, so far I only have Deli and Rosie (who appeared on my second and fourth mystery islands! insanely lucky!)
You can probably also tell that I adore the sheep villagers, every single one of them are adorable, and I have made it my little mission to have each of them on my island at some point! My progress so far:

I also really enjoy using the dream address feature to spend time on all of the beautiful islands that other people have made! It is like taking my character on a little holiday. Here is a tiny gallery of cool builds I've stumbled across, and I will add some more of my favourites soon!
